Privacy Policy

Our privacy promise

Your words are yours alone. VerseFlow is built to respect your privacy. We do not collect your poems, we do not read your content, and we never sell your data to anyone.

VerseFlow is offline-first: your creative work stays on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

What we collect

Short answer: We collect nothing by default.

• We do not require account creation or login.
• We do not collect personal information.
• We do not track usage, behavior, or content.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising.
• We never send your poems to our servers.

Local storage

All poems, drafts, folders, and settings are stored locally on the device. This data:

• Never leaves your device automatically.
• Is not accessible to us or third parties via VerseFlow.
• Can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.

Note: If you enable your device's system backup (for example, Google's Android backup), your VerseFlow data may be included by the device backup. That behavior is controlled by your device settings, not by VerseFlow.

Export & share

When you export or share a poem (image or text), you control where it goes. VerseFlow never uploads your poems to any server. We do not see, store, or transmit exported or shared content.

VerseFlow+ (In-app purchase)

Purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Google provides a transaction ID for license validation only—no personal data is shared with us.

Analytics (optional & future)

If we ever introduce optional analytics, they will be strictly opt-in, anonymous, minimal, and will never include your writing. We will update this policy and notify users before enabling any such feature.

Children's privacy

VerseFlow does not knowingly collect data from children. In practice this means:

• We do not require an account or collect personal information by default.
• Because VerseFlow does not collect data, there is no child-directed data collection enabled in the app.

If a parent or guardian believes that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us (see details below) and we will promptly delete any such information if it exists.

Data requests

Because VerseFlow does not collect or store personal user data on our servers, there is generally no user data for us to export or delete. If you contact us with a data request, we will explain what (if anything) we hold and help you locate any local data on device as needed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page. For material changes we will update the date above and provide an in-app notice if needed.
